"I am sure that I will greatly enjoy the jazz festival today," Russian Minister of Sport Pavel Kolobkov said at the Koktebel Jazz Party press center. The minister confessed that he likes listening to jazz even though he does not consider himself to be an expert in that kind of music."I know Igor Butman very well, I like listening to jazz but I cannot say I am a great specialist," he revealed.
Kolobkov said his visit to Crimea had been scheduled well in advance and was basically linked to the intermediate stage of the Black Sea Cup regatta organized jointly with the Crimean Sailing Federation.
Today, eighteen yachts will moor here, including foreign crews as it is an international regatta. Crimea is one of the best places for developing sailing, and it is crucial that the festival is held here on this day. Sport and culture are interconnected. I hope the Black Sea Cup will become a traditional event and the number of competitors will grow," the minister said.
